Abstract
Linkage of a salen . Cu complex to a distamycin analogue leads to a hy brid molecule that binds selectively to AT-rich sequences in DNA. The cleavage of DNA in the presence of a reducing agent remains efficient but weakly selective. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
