Abstract
This study explores expert system effectiveness by testing an expert s ystem development model and analyzing the life cycle development proce ss. The objective is to determine the nature of the interactions withi n the expert system development process and how the process affects ex pert system effectiveness. The results suggest that life cycle develop ment stages critically impact the overall perception of system effecti veness. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Inc.
