Abstract
A simple method is described for the preparation of 2,2-dichloro-1,1-bis(4- dialkylaminophenyl)ethylenes from dialkyl anilines by Friedel-Crafts reacti on using AlCl3 as Lewis acid and dichloroacetyl chloride as acylating agent .
