Abstract
The use of flow cytometry to study the functional responses of T cells by i mmunofluorescent staining fur intracellular cytokines and other markers is a growing field of clinical interest. In this article, we describe methods for the rapid evaluation of T-cell responses to mitogens and specific antig ens and explore how these assays might he valuable in various clinical sett ings.
