Abstract
The main areas of importance in the selection of acne therapy include effic acy, tolerability, acceptance and potential compliance. Adapalene has been shown to be highly effective, with clinical advantages as compared to treti noin, Of importance is the superiority of adapalene in onset of effect, whi ch can have a positive impact on overall patient compliance and ultimate ef ficacy. Adapalene has also been shown to be highly acceptable and tolerable , which also contributes to patient compliance.
