Abstract
1,3-Cyclopentadiene can be photooxidized efficiently by irradiation with vi sible light using 2,9,16,23-tetrasulfophthalocyanines with various central- metal-ions as photosensitizers. The used photosensitizers were also immobil ized on the cationic ion exchanger Amberlite IRA-400 and examined as hetero geneous photosensitizer. These immobilized photosensitizers can be easily s eparated from the reaction mixture.
