Abstract
Combustion synthesis is used as a joining technology to join Ni-based super alloys with in-situ synthesized NiAl filler. The synthesis mechanism is dis cussed. The microstructure of the joints is investigated and the joint stre ngth is also evaluated by tensile testing.
