Abstract
Aroylhydrazones derived from salicylaldehyde, o-vanillin and nicotinic acid hydrazide have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of NMR, IR and UV/Vis spectral data. The crystal and molecular structure of N'-salicyl idene-3-pyridine-carbohydrazide has been determined by X-ray diffraction. ( C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
