Abstract
In the past decade, a large number of controlled clinical trials have repor ted positive effects of growth hormone (CH) replacement therapy in GH-defic ient adults. The majority of these studies have been carried out in accorda nce with the guidelines for Good Clinical Practice. The data thus accumulat ed offer a solid baseline for practicing evidence-based medicine within thi s area of endocrinology.
