Abstract
Organic-inorganic hybrids appear as a creative alternative to obtain new ma terials with unusual features. Applications of these materials in the field s of optics, iono-electronics, mechanics, membranes, protective coatings, c atalysis, sensors, biology,...are expected. This is related to their polyph asic nanostructures, leading to multifunctional materials.
