Abstract
This work investigated how to reduce NaCl in aqueous DMDAC solution when in dividually using supercritical CO2 and N2O as the extractants. After superc ritical N2O extraction at 333 K and 30.7 MPa, the NaCl content in the botto m of the vessel could decrease to 0.3%. However, the quantity of DMDAC also lost 14.0% in the bottom. The ability of removing NaCl using N2O is much b etter than that using CO2.
