Abstract
Full Paper: As a binding model of dyes in waste water, the adsorption of me thyl orange on poly(ethylene glycol) grafted polystyrene (PS-g-PEG) resins was investigated. The first binding constants of the PS-g-PEG resins are mu ch higher in the cases of high level of PEG grafting and lower temperatures . The binding is more effective in a potassium ion buffer system compared t o that in a sodium ion buffer system. First binding constants vs. temperature in potassium phosphate buffer.
