Abstract
A parameter sensitivity analysis is presented to examine the effect of different time dependent and time independent input parameters on the various output parameters of a tunnel-type directly irradiated solar agricultural dryer with integrated collector. The parameter sensitivit y of the system is expressed by the sensitivity matrix, the elements o f which are the relative sensitivity coefficients. The relative sensit ivity coefficients have been calculated at different stages of the dry ing process. Results of the sensitivity analysis obtained for the dryi ng of camomile are summarized in tabulated forms. (C) 1997 Elsevier Sc ience Ltd.
