Abstract
Within an isospin-dependent Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck (IBUU) transport mo del we show that the isospin fractionation in heavy-ion collisions is a sen sitive probe of the astrophysically important isospin-dependence of the nuc lear equation of state (IEOS).
