Abstract
Purpose: A two-stage reconstruction of cryptophthalmia and euryblepharon oc curring in the same patient is described. Methods: Case report. Results: The 7-month-oId patient underwent forniceal reconstruction and upp er eyelid reformation in a two-stage procedure that used the excess lower e yelid tissue present in euryblepharon to augment the cryptophthalmia-relate d upper eyelid deficiency. Conclusions: To reconstruct the eyelids of this patient with both cryptopht halmia and euryblepharon, we were able to use the manifestations of one dis order to address the deficiencies of the other.
