Abstract
Sol-gel method has been used for the preparation of titanium and titanium/m anganese oxide systems. Xerogels dried at 80 degreesC and post-treated at 5 60 degreesC for 1 h were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectr oscopy (FTIR). Good and uniform coatings were obtained from the peptized so lutions by dipping and were optically characterized. (C) 2001 Elsevier Scie nce B.V. All rights reserved.
