Abstract
Arterio-venous connections, which are known to occur in monochorionic twin placentae and are a mechanism for the development of twin-to-twin transfusi on syndrome, can be demonstrated inutero by means of targeted sonography wi th the use of spectral and color flow Doppler techniques.
