Lc. Thomas, Use of multiple heating rate DSC and modulated temperature DSC to detect and analyze temperature-time-independent transitions in materials, AM LABORAT, 33(1), 2001, pp. 26
Differential scanning calorimetry is a widely used method for the observati
on of phase transitions in plastics. However, it often requires a level of
skill that is beyond many of today's operators, who must be familiar with m
any analytical techniques. The new approach to DSC described in this paper
provides a powerful approach to complex thermal analysis even in the hands
of the routine operator.
