Abstract
Medical record keeping has become increasingly important particularly for r esearch, audit and medico-legal purposes. The authors present a protocol, t he CRABEL score, that is quick and easy to use for the assessment of the qu ality of medical record keeping with the purpose of standardizing the audit of medical records and improving their quality.
