The ongoing debate as to the Effects of various aspects of incarcerated lif e is absolutely necessary to remind all of us involved in the correctional enterprise that, at the very least, we should endeavour to make our prisons safe and humane environments. To this end, we briefly highlight the result s from three recent quantitative research summaries; the prediction of pris on misconducts, the types of programs that reduce misconduct behaviour in p risons and proactive managerial policies that have direct implications for improving the life of the incarcerated and their keepers.
