A woman presented with a chronic radiodermatitis after a percutaneous trans
luminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) for unstable angina. Two PTCAs had alre
ady been performed previously. Although rare, these chronic radiodermatitis
have been described after multiple cardiac catheterization procedures as a
result of cumulative X-ray exposure. Prevention must therefore be implemen
