Abstract
We develop a dynamics of the Cooper pair given by the complex action (S) un der bar = (h) over bar 1n psi with psi solution of the two-dimensional Ginz burg-Landau (GL) equation. The 'motion energy' admits discontinuities for t he Cantorian sequences 1/3, 1/5, 1/7,..., and corresponds to the energy gap of high-temperature superconductors. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd.
