Abstract
Cryosurgery is an alternative treatment option to surgical excision for len tigo maligna. Clinical evidence of recurrence is usually characterized by r epigmentation at the treated site. We report two patients who developed ame lanotic malignant melanoma following cryosurgery for a pigmented lentigo ma ligna. These cases illustrate the potential risk of treating lentigo malign a with cryosurgery.
