The electrical behaviour of a uranyl phenylphosphonate (UPP) film in e
lectrolyte media has been studied by impedance spectroscopy, salt diff
usion and concentration potential and some electrochemical parameters
such as cation transport number, salt diffusion coefficient and ionic
permeability in the film were determined. The equivalent circuits asso
ciated with the film and the film/electrolyte interface, which consist
of a parallel association of a non-ideal capacitor, were also obtaine
d. Both parameters were calculated when the generating precipitate sol
utions UO2(NO(3)0)(2) and H2O3PC6H5, were bathing the UPP film. Concen
tration dependence of all these parameters was also considered.
