Abstract
The role of stress testing is to diagnose acute coronary syndrome, but also to provide prognostic information about the patient. This article discusse s the diagnostic and prognostic abilities of exercise stress testing, myoca rdial perfusion imaging, and stress echocardiography. This article will hel p physicians better understand the role of stress testing in the risk strat ification of low-risk patients with chest pain.
