This report describes a post-infarct patient with recurrent ventricular fib
rillation in the absence of acute ischaemia, in whom arrhythmia recurrences
could be prevented by ventricular rate stabilization of a third-generation
cardioverter defibrillator. Review of the literature and clinical implicat
