Abstract
Three new electron cyclotron emission (ECE) systems will be installed at TE XTOR: a 16-channel ECE imaging diagnostic, a 16-channel radiometer, with fr equency-tunable local oscillators in the second down-conversion step, and a 4-channel second harmonic radiometer that will be used in combination with an already available third harmonic system. The new diagnostics, in combin ation with the systems already present at TEXTOR offer unique measurement c apabilities. In this paper, all the three systems along with their diagnost ic potential will be described. (C) 2001 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
