Abstract
Some specific features of the radiation-induced emulsion copolymerization o f butyl acrylate and acrylonitrile and radiation-induced crosslinking of th e resulting copolymer in the latex form were studied. The effect of polymer ization conditions on the polymerization rate and the molecular mass of the polymer was determined. The copolymer was shown to undergo efficient cross linking in the latex form by the action of gamma -radiation. The radiation- chemical yield of crosslinking sites (G) and the average molecular mass (M- c) of chain segments between two adjacent network junctions were determined .
