Abstract
Prey size had no effect on the gastric evacuation rate of pikeperch Stizost edion lucioperca. The gastric evacuation was adequately described applying an exponent of 0.5 in the power model. Applying length instead of weight of pikeperch in the gastric evacuation model resulted in a change of estimate d parameters, in accordance with the weight-length relationship of pikeperc h.
