Abstract
Reinvestigation of the MeOH-CH2Cl2 extract of the aerial parts of Cleome am blyocarpa led to isolation of a new dammarane triterpenoid, 15 alpha -aceto xycleomblynol A, whose structure was determined to be 11 alpha ,15 alpha -d iacetoxybrachycarpon-22(23)-ene (1) by NMR data interpretation and X-ray an alysis.
