Gv. Kurlyandskaya et al., Magnetic structure and magnetoimpedance effect in stress-annealed cobalt-based amorphous ribbons with different values of induced magnetic anisotropy, PHYS MET R, 90(6), 2000, pp. 549-556
The magnetoimpedance effect, induced magnetic anisotropy, and domain struct
ure are investigated in the amorphous Fe3Co67Cr3Si15B12 ribbons with a near
ly zero magnetostriction, in which a transverse magnetic anisotropy was ind
uced by stress annealing using different regimes. The dependence of the rel
ative change in the magnetoimpedance DeltaZ/Z on the frequency f is measure
d in a frequency range f = 0.1-2 MHz at current amplitudes of 3.0, 3.5, and
4 mA. Distinctions in the magnetoimpedance behavior were observed for the
samples with the same constants of the transverse magnetic anisotropy induc
ed at temperatures 250 and 350 degreesC, e.g., in the hysteresis behavior o
f DeltaZ/Z in a magnetic field in ribbons subjected to certain regimes of t
hermomechanical treatment. The correlation between the magnetoimpedance, in
duced magnetic anisotropy parameters, and magnetic domain structure is anal
yzed.
