Abstract
A new procedure for decomposition of the enthalpy of vaporization DeltaH(v) (0) into increments (contributions of particular moieties of a molecule) is proposed for organic compounds belonging to various classes. The method al lows theoretical prediction of DeltaH(v)(0) of organic compounds on the bas is of the increments of the enthalpy of vaporization fixed for each particu lar class. The procedure was checked for consistency with 15 classes of org anic compounds and provided good results.
