Vg. Baidakov et Gs. Boltachev, The properties of a curved liquid-vapor interphase boundary of gas-saturated solutions, RUSS J PH C, 75(1), 2001, pp. 27-31
Solutions with strongly different intermolecular interaction parameters of
their components are considered. The van der Waals and Gibbs capillarity th
eories are applied to analyze the sigma (R) size dependence of surface tens
ion at constant temperature and concentration in a van der Waals solution.
The concept of isomorphism of surface phenomena in a binary solution and in
a one-component fluid is formulated. A correlation between the type of the
phase diagram and the behavior of surface tension at constant temperature
and external phase composition is established.
