Abstract
Unlike traditional cognitive textbook coverage, students' interests in prob lem solving and to focus on ill-defined problems that are context dependent . In this article, I present an approach to teaching problem solving that i ncorporates both cognitive and social approaches to problem solving, thinki ng, and decision making.
