Hakala (1999) described recent developments in the effort to improve high s
chool psychology education, such as the establishment of a psychology Advan
ced Placement exam and the efforts of Teachers of Psychology in Secondary S
chools. We expand on Hakala's article by describing additional developments
in high school psychology education, namely the initiation of the Psycholo
gy Partnership Project, the creation of national teaching standards, and th
e increased usefulness of the Internee and other computer technology. Like
Hakala, eve advocate a new national survey to evaluate the improvement of h
igh school psychology education and to identify areas that remain deficient
