The aim of our investigation was to approach the problem of identification
for possible variability of light curve shape in case of the classical Ceph
eid SZ Cassiopeiae. In order to perform such a study we analysed eight obse
rvational data sets obtained through V photoelectrical photometry, covering
a time base of 16 years. We applied the Fourier decomposition technique to
each data set; the obtained Fourier coefficients were used to calculate th
e corresponding amplitude ratios and phase differences. Their time behavior
were finally studied in order to search for evidences of the variability o
f the light curve shape.
