Abstract
Exponential and power law solutions for homogeneous cosmological models hav e been discussed in a generalized scalar-tensor theory where both the cosmo logical term Lambda and coupling parameter omega are taken to be functions of the scalar field phi, along with the bulk viscous stress of the cosmic f luid. Assuming simple relationships of the scalar field with the cosmologic al term and the coupling parameter, all the solutions are studied in Dicke' s revised units. By use of a conformal transformation, the solutions are al so expressed in atomic units.
