The polarization effects in processes gamma + A --> X, e(-) + A --> e(
-) + X, gamma + A --> h + X' and e(-) + A --> e(-) + h + X' (A is a ta
rget,-hadron or nuclei with spin J; h is the detected hadron, X and X'
are the undetected hadron systems) due to the collisions of polarized
particles are analyzed using the structure functions formalism. The p
reviously reported results for the spin 1/2 and 1 targets are generali
zed for any spin J. For all the above mentioned processes the dependen
ce of P-odd effects on the polarization of initial particles is establ
ished. For the e(-) + A-interaction only the one-photon mechanism of t
he violation of P-invariance is taken into account. The general proper
ties of T-odd polarization effects for gamma + A-and e(-) + A-interact
ions are found without using the concretization of reaction mechanism
or the structure of interacting particles. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
