M. Vasei et al., PRIMARY T-CELL LYMPHOMA OF THE BREAST WITH LYMPHOEPITHELIAL LESION - A CASE-REPORT, APMIS. Acta pathologica, microbiologica et immunologica Scandinavica, 105(6), 1997, pp. 445-448
Fine-needle aspiration, histomorphologic and immunologic findings in a
case of primary T-cell lymphoma of the breast are reported. The tumor
cells were diagnosed as large cell lymphoma with lymphoepithelial les
ion and no nuclear multilobulation. No serologic evidence of HTLV-1 in
fection was detected. After simple mastectomy, lymph node dissection a
nd chemotherapy, the patient is now doing well, having been followed f
or 30 months. To our knowledge, this is the first case report of prima
ry T-cell lymphoma of the breast with prominent lymphoepithelial lesio
n, no nuclear lobularity, and an indolent clinical course.
