Long-segment substernal jejunal esophageal replacement with internal mammary vascular augmentation

We describe a technique that uses the internal mammary vessels to enhance l ong-segment jejunal graft blood supply in addition to an intact distal mese nteric vascular arcade, We believe that this technique, called vascular aug mentation, improves jejunal graft perfusion and decreases ischemic complica tions.
