Abstract
10Gbit/s-to-40Gbit/s photonic packet compression and 40Gbit/s-to-10Gbit/s p hotonic packet decompression are experimentally demonstrated by using super continuum generation followed by spectrum-slicing and optical time-gating f ollowed by time-shifting.
