Ta. Meniok et al., Effect of immunomodulator from Lactobacillus delbrueckii on therapeutic efficacy of cyclophosphamide in mice with Lewis carcinoma, EXP ONCOL, 22(4), 2000, pp. 211-214
Results of investigation of peripheral blood, lymphoid organs, and intestin
al epithelium showed that blasten (immunomodulator from Lactobacillus Delbr
ueckii) was cap able of preventing cyclophosphamide-induced cytosuppression
. Moreover, blasten augmented the therapeutic efficacy of cyclophosphamide
in mice with Lewis carcinoma. This augmentation manifested itself both in a
n enhanced tumor growth inhibition and in a lower metastasizing.
