Reduction of doxorubycin toxicity by ceruloplasmin

Ceruloplasmin as a natural antioxidant prevents intensification of lipid pe roxidation caused by tumor growth and doxorubicin intoxication. Ceruloplasm in has not been shown to decrease anticancer activity of doxorubicin. Liqui d form of ceruloplasmin judging by its activity has been found to be as wel l effective as lyophilized form of the drug.
