Abstract
Undiluted Beres Drops Plus (BDP) preparation administrated intraperitoneall y to noninbred rats (wild strain and radioresistant strain) with Guerin car cinoma or Pliss lymphosarcoma increased the mitotic activity of turner cell s. In combination with radiotherapy, BDP administered before the 1st and 3r d fractions of irradiation (at the peak of mitotic activity) enhanced the e fficacy of radiotherapy. The beneficial effect manifested itself in the inh ibition of tumor growth and increased survival rate. Restoration of the thy mic endocrine function contributed to the good therapeutic effect of the co mbination of radiotherapy with BDP treatment in rats with Guerin carcinoma.
