Abstract
Essential oil of exudates from Pinus oocarpa Schiede, grown in the Andes of Venezuela, was obtained by hydrodistillation in a Clevenger-type apparatus . A GC-MS analysis showed that alpha -pinene and beta -pinene were the main constituents, but the turpentine was also high in heptanes. Copyright (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
