R. Andrzejewski et al., THE ATTRACTIVENESS OF CONSPECIFIC AND INTERSPECIFIC ODOR FOR BANK VOLES CLETHRIONOMYS-GLAREOLUS, Acta Theriologica, 42(2), 1997, pp. 231-234
We investigated the reaction of bank voles Clethrionomys glareolus (Sc
hreber, 1780) to odors of conspecific individuals and that of wood mic
e Apodemus sylvaticus (Linnaeus, 1758) in a mature forest in central P
oland (52 degrees 20'N, 27 degrees 25'E). Our results show no differen
ce in catching bank voles in traps using conspecific or wood mouse odo
rs as bait.
