Abstract
Goal-oriented requirements analysis techniques focus on organizational as w ell as technical objectives. Once they select a set of alternatives to achi eve these objectives, they can elaborate them during subsequent phases to m ake them more precise and complete. Using UML as an example, this article a rgues that the object-oriented analysis method can be complemented with oth er, goal-oriented analysis techniques.
