Abstract
The core structures of E. coil O125/O142/O158 lipopolysaccharide has been i nvestigated using methylation analysis/mass spectrometry, chemical degradat ions and one-dimensional H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy. E. coil O125 is fou nd to be identical with R-1 and O142/O158 with R-3 type of enterobacterial core structure.
