Abstract
A novel coordination polymer, [Zn-2(bpy)(NTA)Cl . H2O](n) (bpy = 2,2'-bipyr idine, H-3 NTA = nitrilotriacetic acid), has been synthesized and its struc ture determined by X-ray diffraction analysis, which consists of a ladder r unning along b axis where Zn-II ions are linked through the carboxylic grou ps acting as the rungs and rails of the ladder.
