A vision of hand surgery over the next 25 years

Predictions for hand surgery advances over the first 25 years of the new mi llenium are made. Anticipated changes are categorized as societal, technolo gic, and research with clinical applications. Certainly advances in compute r science and molecular biology will affect all aspects of our lives.
